Annual membership fees are 70 euros for regular members, 40 euros for postdoc members (5-8 years after Ph.D., applicants must not hold a Faculty position) and 20 euros for both junior members (graduate students and postdocs up to 5 years after Ph.D.) and retired members, with the option of a personal subscription for the Matrix Biology journal (additional 78 euros for on-line access only, 136 euros for print and on-line). Membership runs from January 1 to December 31.

The ISMB is pleased to offer greatly reduced membership dues for members living in countries with low- or middle-income economies, per the World Bank classification (link): 20 euros for regular members, 10 euros for postdoc members (5-8 years after Ph.D., applicants must not hold a Faculty position) and 5 euros for both junior members (graduate students and postdocs up to 5 years after Ph.D.) and retired members.

Discounted membership grant members access to the same benefits than full-price membership, including the ability for junior members to apply to travel awards or benefit from discounted registration rates at selected conferences and discounts for subscriptions to Matrix Biology, Matrix Biology Plus, and the Biology of Extracellular Matrix book series.
